Management team

Our management team consists of the following members: 



Jan Michiels, Chief Executive Officer

Jan Michiels joined Assembléon per September 2007. Acquired business management skills:

  • With Akzo and Unilever
  • Industries ranging from telephony and cable TV to polyester yarns, construction materials and PCBs
  • More recently as interim CEO for various companies
He graduated in analytical chemistry in Eindhoven, and describes himself as a hands-on, detail oriented manager with a good memory for structures.



Albert Bokma, Chief Commercial Officer

Albert Bokma joined Assembléon per Febuary 2008. Acquired business management skills:

  • Interim CCO Alcatel Lucent Benelux, KPN Group
  • CEO Oracle Benelux 
  • Vice President Sales & Marketing EMEA Tandem NonStop Systems
Albert studied Mechanical Engineering.

 


Guustaaf Savenije, Chief Operations & Technology Officer

Guustaaf Savenije joined Assembléon per December 2004. In 1982 he joined Philips. Previous experience:

  • Research scientist at Philips Research
  • Competence manager mechanical engineering and program manager for Philips IE/AAA
  • Project / Program manager for various product creation projects within ASML
  • CTO and member of the board at Besi
He holds a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.

  
 

Hans Strieder, Director Human Resource Management

Hans Strieder joined Assembléon per March 2003. Previous experience:

  • HRM manager in food industry
  • Various senior HRM positions within ASML
  • Founding partner in The Member Company (TMC) which focused on interim management and consultancy
He holds MBA in HRM and Business Economics.   


Math Kunen, Chief Financial Officer

Math Kunen joined Assembléon per February 2008. Previous experience:

  • Auditing and statutory reporting of international industrial and service Companies
  • Various Financial Management functions within General Electric
  • European management positions within Finance, Supply Chain and as General Manager for American Private Equity firms

Math holds a masters degree in Business Economics.
