Management team

Our management team consists of the following members: 

Tonn van de Laar, Chief Executive Officer

Tonn van de Laar joined Assembléon per April 2011:

• Tonn van de Laar holds a degree in physics from the Technical University Eindhoven,
• He has extensive experience in managing technology oriented companies in a B2B setting,
• Tonn started his career in Royal Philips, was partner in a management buy out initiative of NKF Holding out of Philips.
  

Hans Strieder, Senior Director Purchasing

Hans Strieder joined Assembléon per March 2003. Previous experience:

• HRM manager in food industry,
• Various senior HRM positions within ASML,
• Founding partner in The Member Company (TMC) which focused on interim management and consultancy,
• He holds MBA in HRM and Business Economics.
  

Miel Ramselaar, Senior Director Operations

Miel Ramselaar joined Assembléon per June 2007:

• Acquired management/project skills in Industrial and Pharmaceutical businesses,
• Various senior Operational management positions,
• International management experience as expat and member of global Operation management teams,
• Miel holds a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  

Jeroen de Groot, Senior Director Marketing & Innovation

Jeroen de Groot joined Assembléon in 1998. Previous experience:

• Director Business Line Systems,
• Manager Business Support and Marketing in the Asia Pacific region,
• Product manager of FCM (Fast Component Mounter) and AX-5 platform,
• Jeroen holds a masters degree in Technology Management.
  

Ton Cornelissen, Senior Director Europe/Global key accounts

Ton has joined Assembléon in March 1997. Previous experience:

• Acquired management skills in various companies in medical and analytical business,
• Various international sales managementnt positions,
• Management experience in Europe and Asia within sales/service operation,
• Ton graduated in Chemistry.

Burkhardt Frick, VP & GM Asia Pacific Region

Burkhardt Frick joined Assembléon per January 2008.

• 15 years of commercial management experience with Philips Semiconductors and Components,
• Strong focus on global key account management, general sales management and business development,
• Extended International assignments in USA, Germany and Asia,
• Burkhardt holds an Master Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  

Leo van de Vall, General Manager Assembléon America

Leo van de Vall joined Assembléon in April 1988:

• Acquired management skills by various Philips industrial automation projects and various management positions in Assembléon,
• Disciplined in Marketing, Sales, Industry and Technology, Strategy and General Management,
• International management experience in The Netherlands, Japan and USA,
• Leo holds degrees in Electrical Engineering from Delft University of Technology and Business Administration from Eindhoven University of Technology.
