At SMT Nuremberg, Assembléon will show the newest machine in its Pick & Place family: the Modular Compact MC-12.
The MC-12 is the most flexible and space-efficient machine on the market, offering unmatched performance. It is the solution for customers requiring:
- Highest space productivity of 20 kcph/m
- Many feeding positions (up to 120)
- Large board size (up to 510 x 460mm)
- Compact lines with machines measuring just 1.25 x 1.44 meters
- Lowest cost of ownership
- High placement reliability with a new side view and scanning camera.
- Ease of use.
The MC-12 has a newly developed Intelligent electrical Feeder (FI) platform. Its self-correcting pick-up location (‘adaptive pick‘) allows high speed and highly reliable pick-up rates. The machine can hold up to 120 feeding positions, allowing high flexibility for large mix and minimum changeover environments.
With the ability to handle a large variety of products and product complexities, the MC-12 is future proof. It ensures your production capabilities stay ahead of the rapid evolution of electronic components and packaging solutions. A space productivity of 20k components per hour per square meter makes the MC-12 the most productive chip placer on the market. With a length of merely 1.25 meters, its 10 inline heads combined with a new recognition system give a speed of 36k components per hour.
Performance is guaranteed with the MC-12’s advanced optical scanning camera. Simultaneous measurement of the X and Y sides of the component ensures best accuracy and placement reliability.
