Assembléon

Fact 1: best in direct comparison

Published on 11-Nov-2008

It's not just a promise, it's a fact

Assembléon comes out best in direct comparisons, with independent studies showing industry leading quality figures. Customer comparisons of different Pick & Place machines all gave between 50 and 75 defects per million. Other customer evaluations have even shown defects per million figures below 5 for an Assembléon line. For LCD TVs, our defects per million figures were six to ten times lower than a leading competitive machine. Even with 1500 components on a board, that means a First Pass Yield of more than 97%.

Assembléon achieves down to 5 defects per million figures in customer evaluations

The iNEMI Defects Per Million Opportunities (DPMO) project in the US compared assembly quality results from 11 participants over 2 years, supported by GeorgiaTech. In the project data from a total of around 400,000 boards (around 500 different types) were collected and analyzed. Assembléon’s single digit DPMO performance is far better than competitive equipment.
