Course objectives

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Operate the AX-201 safely
- Load / unload feeders
- Perform a complete product change-over
- Perform simple troubleshooting activities

Course content

- Information on the general operational concepts of the machine
- Locate/define the functions of all major assemblies of the machine
- Manipulate the machine through selected screens
- Perform a pre-start operation, power-up and power-down the machine
- Load components onto the feeders, fit feeders to the trolleys and mount trolleys on AX-201
- Splice 8 mm, 12 mm & 16 mm tapes using tape splicing tool
- Select an order & identify the module setup to perform a product changeover
- Remove & replace nozzles as referenced in the module setup
- Perform simple operator level preventive maintenance (clean the machine)
- Identify & correct errors that can occur during normal machine operation
