Placement accuracy is an absolute pre-requisite for quality of placement. The M-Series equipment have all the tools available to guarantee the best placement quality. A standard Gantry Mapping features compensation for localized non-linearities.
Temperature variation compensation
To maintain system accuracy, special system markers enable Automatic Temperature Feedback adjustments that detect and compensate temperature variations.

Side view camera:
The side view camera option reduces misplacements and eliminates phantom placements.
The side view camera knows the shape of the nozzle that is being used. As
it knows the shape, it can detect the object (component) that is attached
to the nozzle. By means of defining the lowest level and highest level of
the object (shown by the green crosses), it can determine the height of the
component. When the component is missing, slanted, tombstoned, etc. the
height will differ from the normal -correct- height.
