The new MC-platform machines, equipped with the next generation easy to handle, electrical and intelligent tape feeding. The ultra slim design allows up to 119 feeding positions on the slim series machines. The new FI feeder has 1/3rd of the weight of a normal 8mm feeder and is only 420mm long and 11.5mm wide: the new FI feeder has put a new meaning to simplified feeder handling.

The FI feeder contains all the advantages of the intelligent feeders:
- Unique feeder ID
- No more wrong system setups
- Automatic pitch programming and index speed adjustment
- Automatic pickup correction
Especially the last feature is new to feeding intelligence. This unique feature is single handedly responsible for the best pickup results with the best system output results. By supporting the gang-pick, it is necessary that the feeder pickup locations are all located in one straight line. For every feeder where a Y-offset is detected, the host will communicate to the feeder to adjust its gang-pick location.
