Course objectives
Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Operate the AX-301/501 safely
- Load / unload feeders
- Perform a complete product change-over
- Edit, maintain and troubleshoot component data
- Identify errors in placement programs
- Interpret online ARAM data
- Perform operator related preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot feeder and toolbit problems
Course content
- Information on the general operational concepts of the machine
- Locate/define the functions of all major assemblies of the machine
- Manipulate the machine through selected screens
- Perform a pre-start operation, power-up and power-down the machine
- Load components onto the feeders, fit feeders to the trolleys and mount
trolleys
- Splice 8 mm, 12 mm & 16 mm tapes using tape splicing tool
- Run current Placement Program and complete production.
- Load New Placement Program, Prepare AX and accessories for the
Change-over,
- Check the Tool-bit setup for the changeover.
- Teach and correct the Fiducial and Component recognition errors.
- Run the New Placement program and Identify and correct the Production
errors.
- Export error history, analyze machine performance with the help of RAM
data.
- Perform simple User level preventive maintenance (clean the machine)
