Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:
- Operate the AX-201 safely
- Load / unload ITF & A-series feeders
- Perform a complete product change-over
- Edit, maintain and troubleshoot component data
- Identify errors in placement programs
- Interpret online MIS data
- Perform operator related preventive maintenance
- Troubleshoot feeder and toolbit problems
- Explain the general functionality of the system
- Follow the applicable safety rules when working on the system
- Run production (with a prepared placement program)
- Maintain production
- Change over production (with a prepared placement program)
- Prepare production for a new product
- Perform daily maintenance
- Handle ITF and A-series feeders and trolleys
- Perform basic troubleshooting on the system using the
problem-solution list
- Create and correct a placement program
- Create and correct vision files/component files
- Gather information from the system using the Manufactoring
Information System
- Perform simple User level preventive maintenance (clean the machine)
