Course objectives

Upon completion of this course the student will be able to:

• Install and fully calibrate the machine
• Upgrade the machine software
• Work with the machines mechanical, pneumatical, electrical and electronic systems
• Perform full machine maintenance
• Troubleshoot machine problems
  

Course Content

• Installation or re-location of Topaz X II machine in accordance with installation manual.
• Machine leveling to SMEMA height, adjust and align the trolleys, Connect and adjust the Power and air supply to machine.
• Perform the Machine Backup.
• Calibrate the machine and its Tray Feeders (Optional) and check the Origin Reference percentage within specifications.
• Setting of Mechanical limits for safe mechanical operations.
• Setting of Over - Travel limits.
• Setting of Machine and Optional Tray feeder Axes Software Limits.
  Calibrate Initial Position and Initial movements for the machine and Tray changer axes.
• Teach and Verify machine positions found in Machine – Mechanical- Positions.
• Calibrate Pick and Mount Vacuum values and Nozzle station positions (optional)
• Install, configure and Calibrate Fudical and Digital and Analog cameras.
• Check and calibrate the Mount accuracy
• Fine tuning the machine and calibrate the Feeder plate offset.
• Verify machine calibration and backup the data.
• Perform Preventive Maintenance.
