The MG-8R has many feeding possibilities including tape, stick, tray and bulk feeders.

The standard MG-8R holds 90 pneumatic CL tape feeders (8 mm). It can be configured with 90 smart feeders CLi (8 mm). The smart feeders are equipped with the latest RFID technology to speed up and simplify machine setup. It also can be configured with 80 (160) ITF smart feeders that are fully compatible with the A-Series machines. Tape feeder width range is from 8 to 72 mm. The 24-position feeder bar exchange system speeds up changeover by switching the complete feeder bar.
